Created during LowRezJam 2016 by Uubu, Paws Menu, and Louck, the game drops players into a small arena where the goal is simple: keep control of the ball for as long as possible. With fast movement, player-vs-player action, and chaotic moments, it’s perfect for friends playing on the same screen.

WHAT THE GAMEPLAY FEELS LIKE

Matches in Dash Ball are all about speed, timing, and smart plays. Players dash around the arena, trying to steal the ball, block attacks, or pass it to teammates. The action is constant, and no one stays in control for long unless they play carefully.

Controls and Key Moves

Basic Actions (All Players):

• A - Dash: Move quickly to chase or hit opponents; press again at the right time for a second dash (with a tougher recovery).
• B - Block: Defend against incoming dashes or catch fast-moving balls.

When You Have the Ball:

• A - Throw: Launch the ball at high speed to hit and stun opponents.
• B - Curved Pass: Send the ball smoothly to a teammate.

Keyboard Setup Options

Two players can share the same keyboard with these layouts:

Configuration 1:

• Movement: W A S D (or Z Q S D).
• A button: Space.
• B button: Left Shift.

Configuration 2:

• Movement: Arrow keys.
• A button: Right Shift or Enter.
• B button: Left Ctrl or Alt Gr.
